Capturing message headers from a Lotus Notes E-Mail




To capture message headers information for delayed mail follow the below steps:
Step 1: Select the delayed email from the Inbox.
2. Click File, Export

3. Type in the NAME of the file and select Export. Take note where you save the text file.
4. Under Structured Text Export window, select Selected Documents, Unicode and retain the rest (as shown below) & Click OK.

5. Open the text file using Notepad or any word processor application

Internet Mail
In case of Problem relating to Internet Mail delay (Mail Delivery to Lotus Notes delayed from Internet)
1. Open mail received.
2. Go to view -> Show -> Page Source

3., Capture the info till the line saying ... "This is a multi-part message in MIME format."...
4. Update the ticket with the above information.
In case of Problem relating to Internet Mail haven't reached Lotus Notes.
Complete Header Information need to be supplied by the Sender of the mail.
